But Where Do Fairies Fit In?

One of my coworkers apparently has a family tradition of setting leprechaun traps for St. Patrick's day (he has young kids). Every year, they set a trap with green items as bait. Every year, the trap is sprung. The leprechauns always get away, but they do leave candy behind. Obviously, this makes the idea even more appealing to the kids.

Between this, the lab gnomes that supposedly pop out of the floor every time you need something (every lab comes with at least one), the elves that drank and then replaced another coworker's soda (with a thank-you note attached), the gremlins that keep causing trouble, and the brownies that come in late at night to thwart the gremlins, my life is apparently inhabited by a myriad of mythical creatures.
