Thason's going to be on Jeopardy Thursday night, right before the Orange Bowl. Good luck (all) Hokies!

Thason lost, but he gave the reigning champ a run for his money.

I was able to watch with two other VTACO alum since I was over at Walt's to watch the Orange Bowl anyway. Thason opened by answering the first three questions in rapid succession. Then it was a battle between him and the champ. The guy in the middle was lucky not to be in the negatives at the end. Thason got all three Double Jeopardy's, but only got one right.

I knew the answer to the final Jeopardy question, but apparently none of the contestants were thinking along the same lines as I was because everyone got it wrong. (For future reference, trivia question formula #27: X was the [seemingly random number]th person to do Y = first person to do Y alone). The reigning champ, who went into final Jeopardy up by $800, didn't even come up with a guess. But Thason was on a different train of thought than me and didn't come up with the answer. So close!
