The Perfect Life: A Modern Fairy Tale
The once was a girl who was born to two loving and happily married parents. They gave her everything she needed but also taught her how to be independent and responsible. They sent her to the best schools, where she thrived and learned. She went to college and finished her degree in four years. Then she got a job she loved where she made enough money to live on her own, pay all her bills, save some money, and still have fun from time to time. After establishing her career, she fell in love with a loving, responsible man with a good sense of humor who shared her dream of starting a family. They got married, bought a house, and had two happy and healthy children whom they both spent plenty of quality time with even as they continued their exciting and enriching careers. Their children went to college and then got rewarding jobs of their own. They retired with enough money and enough energy to go places and do things they’d always wanted. And then they lived long enough to see their grandchildren and even great-grandchildren grow up, but not long enough to be a burden on their loved ones. The end.

I've been reading On Balance and my new collection of Grimm's Fairy Tales a bit too much. It messes with your head.
Thank you for explaining. I was thinking of asking where this came from.
