Pluto Demoted

After a company-wide review at Solar System, Inc, Pluto has been demoted from "planet" to "dwarf planet". A performance review of Pluto's activities revealed that Pluto has been using an orbital plane that is not calibrated to ecplitic standards. It was also revealed that Pluto has shown little initiative in establishing his independence, wandering into Neptune's orbit every two hundred years or so to do his laundry and borrow some money.

However, Pluto has loyally served the company for over 70 years, so his superiors have left open the possibility of obtaining a new, special title, along with recent-hire Xena and possibly Ceres, who was promoted to "dwarf planet" from "asteroid" after the review.

Pluto is a single father of three - Charon, Nix, and Hydra - who lives on the outskirts of the Kuiper Belt.

Think of it as just an adjective. There are big houses, small houses, out houses and brick houses; but they're all still houses.
