Live from the Sunshine State: Hours and Hours of Rain

The rain really is following me, you know that? Here I am in Cocoa Beach on business. Kennedy Space Center is shut down, so I've been in my hotel room all day watching Tropical Storm Fey whip the trees around. We're getting hit by the squall lines on the outer bands of the system. The storm is due to pass right over my head tonight, although I'm hearing now that the storm has stalled. Goody. That means flooding, which could also mean the roads out of here could get blocked. I just hope it's not another Gaston. I wonder if heading to Orlando very early in the morning would do me any good, or if I should wait until the afternoon? My flight out is around 8:30 pm tomorrow. And downtown Disney has the Lego Imagination Center. Hmmm. I may need another suitcase...

Yep, I'm back. The storm was still going when I left the hotel yesterday morning. But my route to Orlando was clear, save a few scraps of palm tree in the road. I might post Lego pictures later. :)
