Quote of the Day - March 13, 2006

My Mom: (after I complained that I never seem to score any points in my league games) Maybe you're tired.

Me: But it's two or three days between Monday night pratice and the league games.

My Mom: Not from basketball. From your job. You know, that thing you do on the side.

Just remember what happened in the last league game in which you scored. You got hit by a big, white Mack Truck from Texas (A&M).

And what is this I hear about you having some little career on the side? I need you to start devoting 100% of your time to Basketball. Playoffs are less than 3 weeks away.

Yes, and I scored about five minutes after I got hit by that truck. So, what you're saying is, I need to get injured more often? As Steve Buscemi once said, "I don't want to be the materialistic weasel here, but do you think we'll get hazard pay for this?"
