Oooh, Fire! *touch* Ow! That hurt!
I saw an interview with a woman who stayed at her home in Florida for Wilma. She described how scary it was and declared that next time, she would leave.
Okay, what part of Hurricane Season 2005 made you think that staying in your house was a good idea? Houses wiped off the map, dams and levees bursting, a city deluged, mudslides erasing entire villages, and the very storm headed your way dumps at least 2 feet of freaking rain - RAIN, honey, not snow - on Mexico, yet you must personally experience the 120 mph winds to get it through your head that being in the path of a hurricane is, perhaps, dangerous.
I wish to live in a bubble that impenetrable. It sounds utterly blissful.
