Ooooh! Presents!
It is apparently a rule that I cannot buy a camera. I always hogged my parents' camera when I was a kid. When I was a co-op, I acquired an Elph Junior by volunteering to be a contestant in a "Who Wants to be a Millionare"-type trivia game about the company (designed to boost enthusiasm about the company or something). Then, all the co-ops received free Elphs (Elves?) just for being co-ops. (Receiving jobs after graduation, however, was another story... bitterbitterbitter... moving on).
But both of my free cameras were film cameras. I was fine with that. I tend to take a lot of pictures of scenic views on vacation, which I still think film is better for. But my dad, citing the rule that I cannot buy a camera, decided that I needed a digital camera. I can now take pictures of any random thing without caring that I'm wasting film. This is potentially dangerous, particularly to readers with slow internet connections. When I got my new camera, I started with my favorite non-scenic picture subject - my cats. Here's Ringer, sleeping, as 17-year-old cats are wont to do.
And Diana, looking frightened per usual.
And then there's another present I got. The Batwing!
And accompanying Joker helicopter.
Batman even has Bat-arangs.
One of these days, I'll get a picture of the sign.
