This Home Protected by Attack Cat

This story reminded me of a cat I knew once named Sarge. Sarge was very much the "in charge" type. I once saw this Maine Coon cat stand up on his hind legs and raise his front legs in an attempt to break up a fight between the two very large dogs (each more than 50 lbs) that he shared a home with. Most cats would have just bolted from the scene. Legend also speaks of the time he ventured into the woods where some deer were eating, rubbed up against the legs of one deer, then lead the deer to the steps of my neighbor's deck. Dang. All my cats every brought home were snakes, lizards, birds, moles, voles, mice, chipmunks, squirrels, and bunnies.
